  Treasure Island Group is an eco-adventure camp with an educational farming program. Our restaurant facility serves camps with up to 150 international school children during the week and beach tourists over the weekend. The resulting food waste is treated with EM (effective microorganisms) to produce bokashi and used at our three plots at the village farm, improving soil and growing vegetables. We have a cooperative relationship with the local farmers, supporting them in multiple facets and hope to convince to move towards growing organically and with permaculture principles.

  WWOOFer's responsibilities would be helping maintain the farm plots and bokashi-compost system as well as helping in the restaurant. There is a possibility of teaching children about agriculture if you are interested.

  We are situated in Pui O, a village on Lantau Island. We are 30 minutes from downtown Hong Kong by ferry and 30 minutes from the airport by bus.
