  Ours is a small farm, in a rural part of Henan province, known to be the cradle of Han Chinese civilisation with a variety of ancient sites to visit nearby. We are nicely situated between the cities of Deng Feng and Louyang (about 30km from both) . We are in a rural area and part of a village of only 300 people and close to a small town called YingYang town. On the farm we grow wheat, maize and seasonal vegetables. We sometimes use chemical fertilsers to grow our food. It is about 15 minutes by motorbike/taxi from town where you can buy food and has local amenities. The farm itself is close to a lake for fishing, a river, forest and mountains. You can hike the nearby mountain, away from tourists and visit temples on your ascent (and not have to pay entry fees). On a clear day there is a beautiful view of the land around. You will be able to live with me and my family and witness traditional rural farming life in China. We have mountain spring water on tap in our kitchen. Facilities are basic but comfortable. We cook from gas canisters and there is no central heating in winter. And can only wash in bowl of cold water，but summer months are very hot。
  Deng Feng city is a 1 hour bus ride on bumpy road from YingYang town. Deng Feng is 8km from the Shaolin temple. It is also next to the Song Shan Mountain range, where you can climb The famous Song Shan mountain.
  Luoyang is about an hours bus ride in the other direction and is home to the famous White Horse Temple (reputed to be the first Buddhist Temple in All of China) and also the Longmen Grottoes, a beautiful river valley lined with huge Buddhas carved into the rockface, 1000 thousand years ago. Luoyang is one of China’s ancient capitals with other attractions to see and explore. We are also only about 2-3 hours from the major city of Zhengzhou, from which you can take a train or fly to anywhere in China.
