• Message to WWOOFers:

  Dear woofer,

  Welcome to my house. I am an electronic commerce operation, and used to be a TV show director. My husband is an engineer in Tiktok. We have a 5-year-old boy. We are very friendly.

  I am looking for one or two volunteers to help taking care of my boy, and sometimes his friends will come to play together. What you need to do is reading English books, drawing or playing with the kids. We hope you are patient with them and willing to communicate. Do not worry if you don’t have previous experience in it, all you need is to have patience to answer my boys' curious questions. People who have full experience are also very welcome. If you can teach children or adults to play musical instruments, you are also very welcome to take up teaching music as your work.

  The minimum stay is 5 days. 4 hours of your labor in exchange for three meals a day and accommodation. These 4 hours can be continuous or split into two sessions, and the time can be in the morning or evening. All foods are prepared by my wonderful mum and you will be able to taste true local cuisine.

  Our house is in Hangzhou located beside a famous scenic spot called Shangougou scenic area . It's about 97km away from the airport to our house. You can take Subway from the airport to Liangzhu station, then we can pick you up there. During your free time, you can visit the nearby 4A scenic attractions, which are within walking distance. On weekends when we are available, we would like to drive you to attractions that are further away and introduce you to the local culture and will help organize your visits to places worth visiting nearby the town. This town is surrounded by mountains, lush jungles, bamboos, and vast rice fields.

  In the bamboo harvest season, we have a bamboo forest in the mountains where we can teach you how to identify and dig up bamboo shoots. During the tea picking season, we can also instruct you on how to pick tea leaves.

  We also have a house in Shanghai recruiting volunteers with the same requirements as in Hangzhou. That house is located in the city center and it only takes 6 minutes to walk from our house to the nearby subway station，and you can take the subway to most visiting places or train station and airports in Shanghai. We spend four months of the year in Hangzhou and the rest of the time in Shanghai. For specific inquiries, please feel free to ask.

  Please note that smoking is not allowed in the house. Since we have lots of interaction with children, we prefer someone healthy, with no transmitted diseases. Thank you for your understanding.
